The journey began with the vision of 1MT to address the global teacher shortage crisis and improve learning outcomes for students, especially in underserved communities.

The Anchor Schools program, a strategic initiative of 1 Million Teachers (1MT), highlights our dedication to enhancing education through teacher empowerment and innovation. Schools participating in the program are chosen based on their commitment to educational excellence, enrollment in the 1MT program, leadership in education, and the presence of Black Belts within their faculty. As the program gained momentum, it became a beacon of excellence and innovation, with schools receiving special recognition and privileged access to 1MT's extensive resources.
