We empower educators to deliver inclusive, gender-responsive education to students in the most under-resourced communities, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa and Pakistan. Our mission is to develop a critical mass of highly trained teachers and education changemakers who drive grassroots improvements through innovative, holistic approaches to complex educational challenges.
By leveraging technology, teacher training courses, online teaching certification programs, and peer-to-peer support, we train and empower teachers at scale, providing them with the skills, knowledge, and pathways to professional growth needed to create lasting impact.
Through these holistic approaches and by expanding access to teacher education, teaching certificate programs, and training workshops, 1MT is evolving into an Education Advisory Hub and Implementer for governments, private organizations, and development partners, reaching some of the most challenging and under-resourced regions of the world.
