AI EMPOWERS TEACHERS, NOT REPLACES THEM!
When I opened my social media in recent days, I would see the AI course invitation for free on the post of 1 Million Teachers. So, even though I am not a teacher, I was curious and signed up. It was an excellent experience because the program teaches teachers how to use AI programs. Many artificial intelligence programs exist online. So, we were confused about which were helpful in our job or how to use them effectively. This course is for teachers to plan their classes and improve themselves. It is inspiring!
Start the course by clicking the link on the 1 million teacher learning course posts on Instagram or LinkedIn. It is free! The Program has rich content. To access this content, you enroll and get a password to log in again whenever you want. Then, the course starts. It has seven modules. The first one is the introduction, and you dive into AI. Also, the module has a survey about your teaching skills to help you learn which grade teachers you are. After completing the study, you pass the second module. It is about how AI tools fit into your class. For example, as a 7th-grade science teacher, you can use Kahoot, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Designer. The third one is about data literacy, and it is about understanding limitations and ethical rules. Each module has quizzes at the end of the part, which is not easy to complete. You should listen to each lesson carefully.
In recent years, teenagers have wanted to feel unique and individual with the development of technology. Therefore, educators should be updated on the system by personalizing education, so the fourth module teaches teachers how to do it. It is a real-time performance which provides feedback. The fifth module is about assessing AI’s impact on education. It was the other essential part of the course. While using AI, you meet challenges, so the sixth module teaches you how to navigate them. The last module is about the future of education. The key point of this course is you cannot move on to the next module without completing the previous module.
After completing the course, you feel like you have truly learned. This program is effective for teachers who want to add something special to their lives and want to update themselves regardless of age. Don’t forget that using AI tools makes your job easier, not replaces you.
